About us

The Intermountain Cystic Fibrosis Center in Salt Lake City cares for approximately 450 patients throughout the Intermountain region and we serve one of the largest geographic regions in the U.S.

Our Pediatric Program is based at Primary Children’s Medical Center:

Our Adult Program is based at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center’s University Hospital:

Our Affiliate Center in Boise Idaho is based at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center

Each program has a full, multidisciplinary team that functions independently. Utah Cystic Fibrosis Center

We have nurses, respiratory therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, exercise physiologists, research coordinators, and biostatisticians all of whom play an important role as we strive to provide exemplary care for patients with cystic fibrosis.

Our commitment to raising cystic fibrosis awareness is reflected in the teaching of multiple trainees at various levels of medical training as well as in other areas of basic research and clinical practice.

We maintain membership in the Mountain West CF Consortium which allows us to share ideas and tools as we focus on practice patterns and outcomes for improvement with other healthcare providers in a five state region.  The member states are Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico and Utah.
